  • Attended Mark and Irene's wedding dinner at the lavish St Regis on 25 Oct! It was my first time ever stepping into the hotel, total luxury at your disposal.

One thing different about this wedding though was that the food came in individual servings, you didn't have to reach over your plate to get to the food in the middle and best of all, you wouldn't need to compete with your neighbour for that last piece of abalone or roasted pork hahahaha.

Best of all, Irene looked so happy she was practically glowing! Loved her green peacock evening gown, a refreshing choice. Everyone else either wears red or pink. It'll be quite funny if someone actually wears a suit though on her wedding day.

Here's wishing the happy couple many blissful years ahead!

10 or so more days left to D-Day.

  • Like diamonds on the floor

Am in dire need of a tan! Am all white and pasty now, really. Bad bad bad.

Bel came over to study yesterday, watched Japanese pranks in the midst of our SEA and died laughing. Went to school in the morning at 8.30am only to find GP pushed back to 10am. Well, we only began at 10.37am. Now I have 6 GP outlines to do by next week. And like a gazillion SEA outlines plus a lifetime's worth of MATH (!!!) to grasp by November. I have so many consults I've stopped remembering haha Bel's my living organizer. ARGH life's a LIVING HELLL.

Miss my old Samsung F480! Sighh. Need to search for a new phone too. Not sure if I should get another touchscreen phone or one with a qwerty keypad. Sony Ericsson or Samsung? I'm not allowed to get a Blackberry haha so that's kind of out. Still, choices choices. Sigh oh well decisions I'll have to make only next year anyway so I guess this can wait.

I realize I've been thinking about events before and after As, and to me the As period is just one big void which I never think about haha. Oh well.

I have weird and creepy neighbours.

  • How's the weather up there?

The more you see, the more you know, the more you feel you're not good enough. It's like, 'How could you even begin to compare?' when you're so obviously out of place. I belong down here, with all other normal people who lead average lives. Normal people don't belong up there in that circle. Sometimes you can't help but feel that there's been some huge mistake. Has reality struck you yet?

Anyway, went to Pet Lover's Centre at Vivo yesterday upon my sister's request. Got Bailey's food and water bowl. Saw a really cute chew toy that read 'Houneken' as in Hound-neken like Heinekken, but it cost a whopping $13, so it was a no go. Probably going to get Bailey in January since I'll practically be gone for the whole of December. What worries me though is that if miraculously, they award me the internship in December, I'd have a major major problem on my hands. I asked for January or February, so I really hope they'll give it to me then. If they even decide to grant me the interview at all. Oh gosh. What if I got the interview on one of the days when I'll be away? SIGH. Bye bye Japan. Then again, the odds of them awarding me the interview are low, so I really don't know.

Lifestyles of the rich and famous and of the pretty and really smart.

  • You are the love that came without warning

I probably have never said this to your face, but I really enjoy spending time with you. No matter what my mood, you'd turn it back to 'happy' instantaneously. I love dining at marketplaces and hawker centres better than at restaurants (partially also cos if you actually manage to pay for me, it'd be way cheaper!) - we don't have to show our class that way. I know also that for anything and everything I can just go to you, and for that I am really so grateful. Thank you so much.

Subway for dinner tonight! Recently discovered how good subway can actually taste haha before that I was a non-believer. Now it's Subway ftw. And the double chocolate chip cookie. Mmm.

Been doing quite a lot of online shopping lately, if I can't go to Orchard Road I bring the Orchard Road to me. Anyhow the only place worth shopping at in town is like Wisma and Far East only haha so I'm not really missing out on much. Singapore's so small you run out of places to shop at eventually. In fact, it's kinda winter in Hong Kong now so even if Vickii and I go shopping we'd probably end up with stuff like tights, scarves, boots, and what have you hahaha. I'll compensate with the milk tea and dim sum. yum.

Irene's wedding's this coming sunday, time really flies. I still haven't decided what exactly I'm going to give her yet, but it's probably going to be something I can do. Wedding's at St Regis I bet her husband's secretly some billionaire, her engagement ring's HUGE and she has so much branded stuff! Sigh. Mom's already decided what she's going to wear. Sigh. Choices choices.

Obvious is now my favourite song.
